Tobyhanna Army Depot is a vital economic engine for northeastern Pennsylvania that generates an estimated annual economic impact of $3.1 billion for the region and supports 12,360 jobs in the region.
The Blue Ribbon Task Force exists to provide a unified community voice for the Depot by helping to mitigate potential Base Realignment And Closure (BRAC) commission threats and to leverage expansion opportunities. The BRTF is the only community activity focused solely on articulating the military value of Tobyhanna Army Depot in order to capture expansion opportunities. BRTF focuses on the future and the economic viability of northeastern Pennsylvania on behalf of the community.
